HR Specialist Wanted at BAUHAUS

Job Description

HR plays a central role in our organization, and here you will have the opportunity to work with HR issues in an organization where sales and employees are at the center. You will work broadly within the HR field but with a focus on workplace environment.

You will act operationally and independently and be a support to the organization and its managers. As an HR Specialist, there is also the opportunity to develop our existing processes and routines, which we see as a positive!

Today, we are five people in the HR department working with labor law, workplace environment, training, and recruitment, each with our own areas of responsibility. Since we are a relatively small department, we also work across boundaries and support each other almost daily, which makes the job even more enjoyable and varied! You will report to the HR Manager.

Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Supporting, guiding, and training managers on issues primarily related to workplace environment, but also rehabilitation, labor law, and leadership.
• Union cooperation and negotiations.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of HR-related projects, processes, and routines.

Who Are We Looking For?

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have previous experience supporting managers in HR-related issues.
• Have good knowledge of labor law, preferably from the retail agreement, DT agreement, and/or warehouse and e-commerce agreement.
• Are educated in human resources or equivalent.
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Since negotiations, training, and contact with managers are common, you need to have good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Building new relationships and creating trust with our and other departments, as well as with our union partners, is a given for you. BAUHAUS is a fast-paced organization, so you need to quickly find solutions, collaborate, and be flexible.

Experience in retail or good knowledge of the industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Travel to our stores across Sweden is required, so a B driver's license is a must.
